- Trays made using a new technique
- Design: Pasting like the light-beams
These beautiful trays give the impression that rays of light are beaming out of the centre. This design is called “Kosen-hari” in Japan, meaning "pasting like the light-beams" in Japanese.
Wood sliced as thin as paper is called "Tsukiita". These thinly sliced wood veneer sheets are cut at a precise angle and pasted in a circular pattern. From there they are fashioned into a unique tray.
This tray is larger in size than usual, but lighter in weight. It can be used to as a regular tray and also for other uses, placing it on a sofa or on the floor for a casual low table.
