- Elegantly designed measuring spoon for coffee
- Bring a unique touch to your morning coffee routine
- The brass ages beautifully
- Hand made by a metal craftsman
A fantastic coffee and tea measuring spoon handmade by Japanese metalworker Ruka Kikuchi (nickname Lue). He makes these by hammering a form for the scoop and cutting a long strip for the handle, attaching them together by welding then shaping them with various tools by hammering them on a wooden block. This is perfect for measuring out loose leaf tea or coffee.
Working in collaboration with the makers at the workshop he has continues to produce new pieces pressed from one flat sheet of pure brass. These pieces look beautiful in any home and will only become more beautiful as it ages with the oxidation and handling as the metal reacts to the natural oils on your hands.
