Description
- Profile: balanced. Peat, smoke, nutmeg, dried fruits and chocolate.
- Nose : both firm and pulpy. It oscillates between candied lemon and exotic fruits. Superbly vanilla, it gradually becomes spicy (cloves, pepper, nutmeg). Particularly fresh, it develops with notes of verbena and tarragon.
- Palate : lively, powerful. She is racy and elegant. Vanilla and praline initially line the palate. The mid-palate gives pride of place to citrus and ripe fruit (pear, plum). Licorice adds an oily touch before honeysuckle, lily and cardamom make it heady.
- Finish : long, rich. It turns out to be spicy. The influence of aging in bourbon casks shines through the notes of vanilla and milk caramel. Fine notes of ash and smoke gradually appear. The retro-olfaction is marked by sweet orange and mango.
Produced using traditional methods, such as direct heating over a charcoal fire, the malts perfectly display the authentic character of this exceptional place with their marine and finely peaty notes. A blend of whiskeys of different ages, it expresses a subtle balance between smoky, fruity and floral aromas.
The mouth, lively and powerful, will sleek and elegant watch, offering a long and rich finish.
