This hojicha is carefully roasted so that the leaf turns a warm brown and releases a fragrant, toasty aroma with hints of caramel and roasted nuts, while still keeping a clean, light finish. The low-temperature roast gives depth without harshness, resulting in a cup that feels comforting and mellow from the first sip.
Because hojicha is made from green tea that has been roasted, much of the bitterness and a significant part of the caffeine are reduced, making it one of the most approachable Japanese teas for children, elders, and anyone sensitive to caffeine. It is easy to pair with both Japanese and Western sweets, evening meals, or as a calming, non-stimulating drink before bed.

How to use:
Infuse 3g in 160ml of water (100°c) for 1 minute and enjoy.
