The spiciness and umami of real wasabi tastes completely different from horseradish wasabi.
- Not only used for fish or dipping sauce, you can try using wasabi in new ways: seasonings for a sandwich, salad dressing, hamburgers, Italian dishes, etc.
This wasabi is grown in Shizuoka prefecture, which is said to be the birthplace of Wasabi. The area is famous for its pure water that flows from Mt. Fuji and the Minami Alps and ideal because wasabi will only grow in pure water. Tamaruya wasabi is grown in own fields along the Abe River, and in rich Fujinomiya where it is grown in pure water at around 13 degrees Celsius.
No artificial colouring or artificial flavouring are used in this product. Please refrigerate after opening.
