Description
  • A delicious yuzu liqueur
  • Delicious "one shot" or mixed into a cocktail
  • No additives or preservatives
  • Nigori Yuzushu is marked by citrus, lemon, lime, grapefruit, orange, giving in the end a beautiful acidity and an incredible liveliness.

Produced in a completely traditional way by the Asahara brewery in the city of Morayama, renowned for its yuzu since it is the oldest place of cultivation of this citrus fruit in Japan, Nigori Yuzushu is a traditional Japanese liqueur very popular with Westerners. . The variety of yuzu used is particularly recognised in Japan because it is both firmer and more aromatic. A touch of plum is added to bring sweetness to this exceptional liqueur.

Asahara produces traditional Japanese liqueurs in a completely traditional way in the city of Morayama, renowned for its yuzu since it is the oldest place of cultivation of this citrus fruit in Japan. Once the fruits have reached maturity on the tree, the whole family and employees devote themselves entirely to the manual harvesting of the fruits: the work and the selection are therefore extremely rigorous. This liqueur is made from yuzu, this Japanese citrus fruit that chefs love. The variety used by Asahara is particularly recognised in Japan because it is both firmer and more aromatic and is based on Japan's longest tradition of yuzu cultivation.

The variety used by the brewery of Asahara, the “Yuzu of Ogose”, is special. Fruit skin is thicker and denser than that of the yuzus of other regions which gives it a rich and refreshing scent.

With such a vast aromatic palette on the citrus fruits, Nigori Yuzushu opens the field of an infinity of possible chords and cocktails.

To taste fresh, with or without ice, as an aperitif or dessert, or to be proposed on combinations surprising as an accompaniment for example of a fillet of white fish grilled with salt! In cocktail, He’s the perfect partner for gin or tequilla.
