Time & Style - Hakkaku Tray
Rinka, Ryoka, Mokko, Kutsuwa and Hakkaku wooden trays were given names relating to the ornamentation of their edges. The wooden trays which have usually been rectangular since old times are here revisited using elegant curved forms. The versatile trays can be used for carrying dishes and glasses, as placemats for the table or as a plate to present food. Tools in Japan have high usability and utility.
