Sencha is a type of Japanese ryokucha (green tea) which is prepared by infusing the processed whole tea leaves in hot water. Unlike macha, comes in the form of powder, which is more ceremonial, sencha is known as the most popular tea in Japan. Sencha is perfect for drinking at anytime in the day, and can be prepared more quickly. In Japan, we drink it both hot and cold.
How to prepare:
Water temperature: 80°C - Infusion: 40 seconds. 4 g (for 1 person) for 25 cl of water.
Ingredients: Green tea.
