We reserve the right to modify these terms and conditions at any time. We advise to check such modifications prior to placing an order.
Payment & Currency
All payment transactions will be completed in Euro. All prices shown include value added tax at the rate applicable in France but do not include shipping costs. Shipping costs are fairly calculated prior to your location and way of delivery.
Prices are liable to change but the relevant price is the one stated on the date of order placement.
The following payment methods may be used: Visa, Mastercard, American Express & PayPal.
French VAT does not apply to orders shipped outside of France. However, the recipient will be liable for the payment of charges such as local import duties, VAT or tariffs that the order may be subject to. We, Japan-Best / Bows & Arrows have no control over this and can not refund them in any case. The responsibility falls under the customer. All orders will be send with a detailed invoice, inside the package and with the carrier shipping ticket. If any trouble may occur, don't hesitate to contact us by email.
We have a flatrate for shipping for each destination country. Every order is sent with a tracking number that will be send to you by email after your order leaves our office. Items are shipped from France via leading carriers, such as Mondial Relay, FedEx, DHL, UPS or TNT etc. Please be advised that packages must be signed for. If we receive a return because the recipient did not claim the package, we cannot send replacements and shipping fees will have to be charged again.
Bows & Arrows / Japan-Best operation days are from Tuesday to Saturday. Orders will be prepared and shipped within 1 to 3 business days and should arrive within 7-14 business days from the date the order has been placed. Order placed from Friday afternoon to Monday will be out for delivery by Tuesday at the latest.
Track your parcel
We only send parcel with tracking number. After your order has been completed and ready to ship, you will get 3 different emails including all informations regarding its delivery, coming from:
- Boxtal, our logistic system
- SquareSpace, our e-shop system
- From our staff at Bows & Arrows - Japan-Best
Please note that a parcel which hasn't been claimed (for any reason) and sent back is not refundable. New shipping fees will be applied at the same rate of your initial order.
Returns & Exchange Policy
Japan-Best / Bows & Arrows will provide a full refund or exchange within fourteen days of receipt of delivery in the form of the original payment, given that the original receipt is attached. Merchandise to be returned must clearly be unused and in its original packaging. We cannot refund merchandise that is returned incomplete, damaged, or in any other manner different from its original state.
To exercise your right of withdrawal you must inform us unambiguously of the decision to withdraw your purchase prior to the expiry of the withdrawal period: firstname.lastname@example.org
The refund or exchange will be processed as soon as we receive the merchandise. Depending on your bank, you will see the refund show up anywhere between 5-10 business days later.

It is important that the return must be send with a tracking number as lost return items cannot be refunded.
Please be advised that packages must be signed for. If we receive a return because the recipient did not claim the package, we cannot send replacements and shipping fees will have to be charged again. Please note that shipping costs will not be refunded unless the merchandise was damaged.
Lost parcel & Refund/Exchange Policy
Japan-Best / Bows & Arrows is using international carrier leaders for all the order shipping. Unfortunately, a parcel could be lost during the handling of the carrier. If it happens, an exchange/replacement will be shipped again or the same order value would be refunded in the original payment used (Credit Card or Paypal) by the client, after a investigation process that can take few days to few weeks depending on each carrier. Please read the different steps:
- Contact us with your tracking number. We will dispute a claim in both France and your country to the corresponding carrier.
- The carrier will launch the investigation. This process can take from 3 days to several days depending on the carrier. We're unable to refund/exchange before the carrier's conclusion, even if it takes longer than expected.
- Once the conclusion is announced by the carrier, an exchange shipping or a refund would be performed accordingly. If the refund is concerned, the value ammount would be sent to clients in the original payment used (Credit Card or Paypal).
Privacy & Cookies
Your personal informations are never provided to tiers advertisers or third-parties (ad-serving & ad networking companies). In the meantime, some third-parties may provide us information about you such as demographic informations, site where you have been shown, etc) from offline and online sources.
Your credit cards informations are safely secured by Square and Paypal. We have absolutely no access to it.
We reserve the right to cease your order at any time, with acceptable reason. Our e-shop has the exact stock from our physical store. If a product is bought at the same time by a customer at our store and online, the product will go to the first customer ordered. Before cancelling and refunding your order, we will contact you for an exchange at the same value.
