Konjac Sponge - Japanese Skin Care

Konjac Sponge is a 100% natural sponge made with vegetable fiber, called "mannan", extracted from konjac. It is skin-friendly because it is covered with a layer of water which functions as a barrier to protect the skin surface. The mild alkaline sponge surface neutralizes the acidity of dirt and grime on the skin without soap. Due to its safety and gentleness to the skin, it has been used on new born babies for more than 120 years.

Care Instructions:

As it contains no preservatives and no additives, Konjac sponge could become moldy. Squeeze out excess water after usage and store it in a well-ventilated area to dry. Putting the sponge in a plastic container and storing it in the refrigerator allows you to use it regularly for a surprisingly long time.

Caution:

-         Never squeeze too hard.

-         Wash properly after each usage.

-         Air dry well after draining the water.

-         Do not dry in the bathroom.
