Fukumidori is characterised by its rich umami and sweetness. After picking this Fukumidori, the fresh tea leaves they are out to soak up the suns rays while they dry. This process doubles the flavour and at the same time increases the nourishing ingredients of the tea.
The tea is grown at Onishien, a traditional tea plantation that has been in business for 250 years since the Edo period. Takeshi Nakajima, the owner of Onishien, is a master of hand-kneaded tea and is a representative maker of Sayama tea, which has received the title of No. 1 in Japan many times.

How to brew & store:
Put 3g for one person, 5g for two people of tea leaves in 75ml per person of 80ºC water for 40 seconds.
Avoid heat and humidity, storage at room temperature.

In recent years, Japanese people became more aware of the delicacy of “The Single Origin Tea”. We enjoy the unique pure taste of one tea species, as western people do when they drink black tea from one farm.
